🔐 Finishing the Week Strong – Securing West Wales 🔐

It’s been another busy few days here at TechSmart Fire & Security, helping businesses and property owners stay protected and compliant across West Wales.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been working on:

🚧 Barrier Safety Upgrade – Ceredigion
We attended a commercial yard where an existing barrier system required improvements to meet modern safety standards. We installed safety photocells, ensuring the barrier can detect vehicles and pedestrians correctly and prevent accidental closure.

🔥 Fire Alarm Bi-Annual Maintenance
We also carried out scheduled fire alarm maintenance on a commercial property. Fire alarm systems should be tested and serviced every 6 months to ensure they remain compliant with regulations and insurance requirements, and most importantly, to ensure they will work when needed.

📡 Site Surveys Across West Wales
We visited several sites across Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, assessing security requirements and discussing improvements with site managers.
As part of our approach we provided a free site survey and a no-pressure quotation, helping businesses understand their options before making any decisions.

🚪 Bespoke Gate & Automation Design
We’ve also been designing a custom automated gate system for a customer. Every gate we install is bespoke and tailored to the property, ensuring the automation works perfectly while maintaining the aesthetics and character of the entrance.

From safety compliance and maintenance to bespoke security solutions, we’re proud to continue securing homes and businesses across West Wales.

🔧 A Busy Start to the Week for TechSmart Fire & Security

It’s been a busy start to the week for the team at TechSmart Fire & Security Ltd, working across Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire supporting customers with upgrades, repairs and maintenance.

Here’s a look at some of the work we’ve already completed this week 👇

📹 Commercial CCTV Upgrade
We upgraded an existing CCTV system at a commercial premises, improving image quality and reliability so the customer can monitor their site more effectively.

📡 Improved Connectivity on a Coastal Property
Working with an existing 5G LTE internet connection, we installed WiFi disks to extend coverage around the property and provide a more stable network.

🌾 Farm WiFi Coverage – Ceredigion
Rural connectivity can be challenging, so we installed additional networking equipment to improve WiFi coverage across a farm in Ceredigion, helping keep the property connected.

🚪 Automatic Gate Repair – Pembrokeshire
We attended a call-out to repair automatic gates in Pembrokeshire that were not originally installed by us, diagnosing the issue and getting the system operating safely again.

🔥 Fire Alarm Bi-Annual Maintenance – Carmarthenshire
We also carried out bi-annual fire alarm maintenance at a commercial property in Carmarthenshire, helping ensure the system remains compliant with relevant standards and continues to meet insurance and safety requirements.

You may have noticed we’ve been a little quieter than usual online recently… 🤫

But rest assured — TechSmart has still been out there securing West Wales every single day.

Over the past few weeks our engineers have been busy across the region carrying out a wide range of installations and maintenance work, including:

🔹 Fire alarm installations along the coast, helping ensure properties remain protected and compliant with current standards.
🔹 CCTV installations in Ceredigion, utilising high-performance ColourVu turret cameras to provide clear, full-colour surveillance day and night.
🔹 A wide range of planned maintenance visits, testing and servicing systems to make sure fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems remain fully operational and compliant.

While all of this has been happening out in the field, we’ve also been working behind the scenes on something new for TechSmart.

We’re not quite ready to reveal everything yet… 👀

But something exciting is coming soon.
