Motion Detection is a very common feature within CCTV, it detects pixel changes within an image triggering an event.

Similar to Motion Detection, Human Detection also uses pixel changes to determine an even but with the added power of AI to determine if the object causing the pixel change is human. The benefit of this feature is that it can dramatically reduce storage space for recording and also reduce false alarms if used for notifications.

Similar to Motion Detection, Vehicle Detection also uses pixel changes to determine an even but with the added power of AI to determine if the object causing the pixel change is a vehicle. The benefit of this feature is that it can dramatically reduce storage space for recording and also reduce false alarms if used for notification.

Smart Tracking uses a combination of the above mentioned features. Once the event has been triggered the camera can then track the object in question until it is out of view. This feature is solely used in conjunction with PTZ cameras.

Face Detection is a great feature that is used to verify personal identities by using pointers and measurements of facial features. Some applications of this feature are Time and attendance and access control.

ANPR is a great feature that is used to verify vehicle identity reading number plates and even the make and colour of the vehicle. This feature is great in scenarios where you need to limit access to a facility or parking area. Working in conjunction with barrier or gate automation is where ANPR truly shows its worth.

Heat Mapping has the power to change how retailers run their business. With this feature retailers can understand what areas of their stores most customers are attracted to and the time they typically spend in those areas, locating the most popular products in the ‘hottest’ areas.

Thermal Detection uses thermal imaging cameras to monitor the temperature of many different scenarios such as electrical, building and manufacturing. Using these measurements it can detect temperature anomalies and trigger a warning before fire starts, finding hot spots and invisible defects on machinery or electrical systems.
